Over the years, Catrine Näsmark has focused on portrait painting. Two of her portraits hang in the royal palace in Gamla Stan in Stockholm. She receives many private commissions and paints portraits of children and families. Other situations could be immortalizing a company board, or an award-winning individual.
"Painting portraits is a nice way to pay tribute to a person. Personally, I like the size to be a few times larger than reality. I paint from photos, which is very good, because I prefer to work undisturbed in my studio." - Catrine Näsmark
